sometimes I get angry and I want to break things, but then I realize that I’m too poor to have them easily replaced so I blog about it instead
We went to the international bazaar today. It’s this place where there are areas designated for certain places in the world. They have a place for Paris, Africa, China, Mexico and a bunch of others I haven’t been to yet.
But it’s really old and it’s starting to fall apart but that makes me love it even more.
Anyway I took a bunch of pictures and now I’m telling you guys because you’re the only ones that care.
My fingers they stretch out to the universe in surrender,
And I stare at them in their unarmed splendor.
I curl them back.
Attack! Attack!
Fall Back! Fall Back!
It’s all been a trap,
We tread these feral waters without a map.
The cord of sanity has been snapped.
No turning back.
Phantoms of favor declaring misbehavior,
Have circled my mind and quenched my thirst.
Thrusting the knife of their past life into my beating chest.
Nothing short of magnificent, until my decent is met.
I take my last breath as I whisper your name.
Oh I love you so.
Thanking God has become a formality,
And saying praise God and hail God a figure of speech.
Marriage is no longer sacred and divorce is now just considered a contract breach.
People only know God when they need God,
And they only speak of God when they see that God is a topic of conversation.
Others backseat God and treat God as if seeking God is an annoying obligation.
